The story of my life

About Me

I've been writing songs since the third grade. I loved it so much that I earned a degree in music composition and theory from Washington State University. But figuring I needed to make a living, I hedged my bet with a second degree in communications that led to a 35-year career in branding and marketing. I ran my ad agency, Park&Co, for 20 years, but got tired of the old way of marketing. Now I consult, teach, coach and speak internationally on the power of business storytelling composition and theory to help leaders of purpose-driven brands excel through the stories they tell. And, I get to use my production and music chops on my weekly podcast at The Business of Story, ranked among the top 10% of downloaded podcasts in the world. My goal is to help you craft and tell compelling stories that sell. You know, to help your story sing.
