As I was thinking about what I really needed for 2022 and how I'd try to remain inspired - regardless of setbacks...I kept coming back to what I really needed for myself this year. And that is Happiness. I've gone through a lot of changes in my life this last year/18 months which has sort of redefined what is important to me. My kids are getting older and moving out, my job and company are doing well, I am contributing in all areas - what I really need to do this year is redefine what happiness is to me - and then go get it. While, admittedly, this song was overplayed and not that great to begin with - I couldn't come up with something from the lyrics to the feeling I get when I listen, that better represents exactly what I need out of 2022. There is no looking back - here we go!
